Children Two years and up:

Each child will be taught and challenged at their individual learning level and phase. The following are the basic areas which will be 

covered in the curriculum.

Recognizing & Naming geometric shapes and structures :( circle, square, triangle, star, heart, rectangle, moon, octagon, hexagon and pentagon) ;

Recognizing & Naming primary and secondary colors: (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, brown, black, white, and pink);

 Knowing and identifying numbers 0-20;

 Knowing different concepts such as big/small, more/less, opposite, spot the difference, same/different, matching, making and understanding patterns, sorting and classifying, making predictions;

Learning and recognizing the Letters of the Alphabet from A- Z both upper case and lower case

 Phonic awareness – the sound of letters and letter blends;

 Recognize letters in their own names and able to write it;

 Knowing address, phone number and emergency number;

Rhyming words;

Use drawing to tell story, understanding different text format such as story books, magazine, newspaper;

Retelling story and can comprehend short stories from listening;

Social and emotional learning will include how to express own feelings and needs, understanding, communicating and following direction,  respecting others feelings and needs, sharing, group working, proper use of words and actions while interacting with others, understand the works of  community workers around us  and their roles in the society;

Engage in active play using fine and gross motor skills, participate in group active play , understand personal hygiene, identify body parts and their functions, understand  safety rules during physical activity;

Participating in dance and music activity, performing in front of audience and understanding a role play for fine art;

Various Holiday/seasonal crafts and activities will be incorporated into weekly lesson plans;

     School-age children:

  •   Field Trips and excursion;
  • Summer Reading and Educational program;
  •  Daily Hand on Activity (includes science, math and writing);
  •   Safe Indoor-Outdoor Activity;
  • Age appropriate computer activity;
